Project “Reflections”: Regina Frederick. Florist Artist and Performer.

That was her first time out there downtown. Regina and her family moved to Santa Cruz last August. As a successful florist of 11 years her pay has reached the top, its very hard work long hours and worst of all-all holidays. By making Regina career change she have a chance to double her income, and help to enrich Santa Cruz area.
Having a family of four at the age of 32 , she have decided to learn a new trade and attend Shoreline Cosmetology School where she will specialize in hair color, design and formal/creative up-dos. Regina is saying:
“I’m positive my design skills that I have practiced over the years will add to my success. Its expensive to commute, and very hard on my children and husband, which all love and support me and are working hard to help me. I’ve been looking for a job serving tables in there area, but no luck yet. If I can find a job full time serving table before mid August and raise $5,700 for tuition so I can begin my journey. I never attended college…but have done well for my self considering.
I am so excited to go to college, a dream I have had for many years. I am passionate about ethnic, fusion belly dance and art.
I enjoy performing and thought to raise money by entertaining the community and featuring handcrafted art and accessories  for donations. I am also available for hire to perform to aid in the funding of my school and love of dance!
