Here is the project I did together with an Art Director Oksana . It was a fun fashion photo session for a commercial project, an advertising campaign for one of the Department Stores in San Francisco. We had to shoot on location, on the spooky streets of San Francisco.
We had a big team:
- One demanding Art Director Oksana
- Five talented and fun models : Radilina, Emanuela, Alice, Monika and Jason
- Creative Make-up Artist Cindy
- Young, but very serious, Wardrobe Stylist Minh
- Oksana's friend Rob, a very helpful assistant,
- ... and myself.
Outdoor fashion photography is a challenging and cooperative work. It was a good experience to work , communicate and direct the group of models.
At the same time, for this project, I had to keep in mind all the requirements and directions I got from the Art Director. We had to shoot at a specific angle, with a specific image crop, and at 6 different locations. So, not only I had to set the lights and reflectors, and test camera settings, but I also had to do it 6 times within 3 hours!
